CALPHAD-STT Scholarship for Students
With the
generous financial support from our sponsors, particularly the National Science
Foundation of the United States, we have teamed up with the Foundation for
Applied Thermodynamics (Stiftelsen för Tillämpad Termodynamik, STT) to provide CALPHAD-STT scholarships
for students to attend the CALPHAD meeting.
The CALPHAD scholarship consists two portions, i.e. the travel funds
from STT and the registration funds from the conference organizers.
To apply
the travel funds, download the STT application instruction
and submit your application to Prof. Mats Hillert (mats at mse.kth.se).
To apply
for the registration funds, following documents must be submitted to the
organizing committee before January 15, 2007 by e-mail (2007 at calphad.org),
and the decision will be made by March 1, 2007.

A brief biographical note (one
page maximum)

A support letter from thesis
